Three New Employees Join Vestige Team

MEDINA, OH (June 1, 2020) – Vestige Digital Investigations, a leading U.S. Electronic Evidence Experts company specializing in Digital Forensics, Cybersecurity & ESI Services, is pleased to welcome three new Data Evidence Specialists: Jade Brown, Jordan Wyant, and Doug Wenrich.

Jade Brown is a resident of Beachwood, Ohio. She earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Linguistics from Ohio University in Athens, OH. Jade served as an Ambassador for the Taiwan-U.S. Sister Alliance (TUSA) and was a TUSA Scholarship recipient. The pattern-thinking style which served Jade well in subjects such as language acquisition, and political science enabled her to cultivate her interests in technology, cyber forensics, and threat intelligence. She went on to earn a Graduate Program Certificate in Computer Forensics from Utica College, in Utica, NY. She leveraged her Mandarin and cultural expertise as an active participant in cyberintelligence forums on Chinese information warfare, denial and deception, and state actors. She is also a member of InfraGard’s Northern Ohio Chapter.

Doug Wenrich is originally from Rochester Hills, MI. He graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Ferris State University in Big Rapids, MI. He is currently pursuing an online Master of Science Degree in Digital Forensics from the University of Central Florida, Orlando, FL. Doug brings five years of experience to the position having worked as a Senior Probation Officer for the Florida Department of Corrections. Here he developed skills including written digital forensic reporting and testifying in circuit court, working with judges, defense attorneys and prosecutors, developed caseload management skills and conducted criminal investigations. Through his studies, he has working knowledge of multiple digital forensic tools used to conduct investigations and analysis of digital media.

Jordan Wyant is from Mechanicsburg, PA. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Digital Forensics from Bloomsburg University, Bloomsburg, PA, with a minor in Information and Technology Management. Jordan took numerous digital forensic courses applicable to his new position such as forensics software including Autopsy, Python, SQL and Visual Basic. He learned teamwork, time management and communication skills as a member of the Bloomsburg University Dean’s List, men’s swim team (four years); and as president of the Student Athletic Advisory Club. He also worked for the university as a research analyst.

As Digital Evidence Specialists at Vestige, they are responsible for acquiring Electronically Stored Information (ESI) on digital devices from clients, opposing parties, and 3rd parties. The data is then preserved and/or prepared utilizing forensically-sound procedures for case analysis. Specialists are also responsible for safekeeping, managing and returning physical evidence belonging to clients, opposing side and/or third parties.
