Hausler earns CMMC RP credential

CLEVELAND, OH – Vestige Digital Investigations, a leading U.S. cybersecurity company, is pleased to announce Evan Hausler, Cybersecurity Specialist, is now a CMMC Registered Practitioner (RP).  

The U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) developed the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) to ensure appropriate levels of cybersecurity controls and processes are adequate and in place to protect controlled unclassified information (CUI) on DoD contractor systems.

Evan is  based out of the Cleveland headquarters, and joined Vestige this year. Both he and Vestige co-owner, Damon Hacker, now have the RP cybersecurity advisory designation.

Vestige is also a Registered Practitioner Organization (RPO) and is pleased to directly employ the aforementioned Registered Practitioners (RP), ensuring that Department of Defense Contractors are receiving the most current and best CMMC recommendations.

Vestige earned Registered Practitioner Organization (RPO) status in January of 2021. RPO’s are part of the CMMC ecosystem and provide advice, consulting and recommendations to their client contractors. RPOs are required to associate/hire Registered Practitioners (RP), who undergo training provided by Cyber-AB – the CMMC Certification Body . This specialized training is designed to provide RPs and RPOs with relevant information pertaining to the basic CMMC methodology.

RPs and RPOs have expert awareness in service delivery of what it takes to become CMMC certified. Bound by a Professional Code of Conduct, RPs are Trusted Resources who can guide contractors who wish to begin and maintain valuable DoD contracts through the journey in becoming CMMC certified.
